Question were not straight forward. Interviewer was Mrs. Kranthi. So lets have a look on this question.

1) what are system tables.

2)What kind of locks are available in sybase

Ans. 1)Shared Locks

2)Exclusive locks

3)Update locks

3) how do we achieve locks

4)What is isolation level and different scenario with examples

5)What kind of transaction fills the transaction logs.

Ans. Insert Update and delete. Mostly Update will write in log file before update and after update.

6) Suppose you have to create one table what all point you consider to make it performance wise better

7)what is tempdb and how does it filled which type of query.

Ans- Tempdb get fills with statements like sort ,aggregate statement and group by and subqueries mostly

Once again i want to say that all the above question were not asked directly but scenarios were given and these question were deduced from there.
